Man Almost Crashed Into Police Car While Fleeing, Police Say

St. Louis County Police said when they caught Alexander Krupp, he had stolen items in his trunk.

A High Ridge man faces criminal charges after St. Louis County Police said they found he had property stolen from cars in Oakville. Alexander M. Krupp, 21, of the 1500 block of Cleo Court, was charged May 6 with felony stealing and resisting arrest. St. Louis County Police said officers responding to a suspicious person report spotted Krupp in his car at 2:52 a.m. Oct. 12. England Town Road and Pierwood Drive. Man Chopped Through Oakville Business' Roof to Burglarize It, Police Say

St. Louis County Police said officers arrived as Buddy L. Ferguson jumped off the roof.

A man chopped through the roof of an Oakville business on Telegraph Road to get inside and burglarize the building, police said. St. Louis County Police responding to a report of a burglary in progress Sunday saw a man jump off a roof at Telegraph Laundry, 4320 Telegraph Road. The man fled from officers, but was caught a short time later. Buddy L. Ferguson, 49, of Barnhart MO, was charged Sunday with second-degree burglary, misdemeanor stealing, first-degree property damage and resisting arrest. Police said Ferguson chopped a hole in the roof to get inside the building and took cash from the business. Ferguson is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Oakville Man Tased for Resisting Arrest

The man is facing charges related to defying an order of protection that protected his wife, St. Louis County police say.

An Oakville man faces charges related to defying an order of protection that protected his wife, police said. Robert Stockwood, 53, of Oakville, was charged Feb. 22 with violating a protection order and resisting arrest. St. Louis County Police said Stockwood had been served with an order of protection Feb. 17, prohibiting him from communicating with his wife or being at her home in the 4400 block of Forder Oaks Drive in Oakville. Police said he entered the home through an unlocked door and begged his wife to let him stay at the house. The woman told police she didn’t call for help because she was afraid, but left the home. She returned several hours later and ordered him to leave, but Stockwood went to the bathroom where she found him …

Oakville Man Resisted Arrest, Police Say

St. Louis County Police said the man wrestled with officers who tried to arrest him at his home for unlawful use of a weapon.

An Oakville man was charged for resisting arrest Saturday in the 7100 block of Coram Drive. St. Louis County Police said they were arresting Keith Powell, 58, at his home for unlawful use of a weapon when he pulled away and began wrestling with officers. Powell, of the 7100 block of Coram Drive in Oakville, was charged with resisting arrest on Sunday in St. Louis County Circuit Court. Man Assaults Mother, Takes Car, Crashes into Seven Holy Founders Building

The woman told police her son returned without the car and told her he ran into a building.

A 35-year-old man assaulted his mother, took her car keys, stole her car and later drove it into the former Seven Holy Founders School building in Affton Tuesday, police said. William Hoffee, 35, of the 4900 block of Fyler Avenue in South St. Louis, was charged Wednesday with second-degree robbery, leaving the scene of an accident and resisting arrest. St. Louis County Police said Hoffee assaulted his mother at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 9900 block of Pointe South Drive in the Concord area of South St Louis County. He then took her car keys and debit card and left in her vehicle, police said. He was driving on South Rock Hill Road near the Seven Holy Founders School at about 5 a.m. when the car left the roadway and struck the building…
