Oakville Man Tased for Resisting Arrest

The man is facing charges related to defying an order of protection that protected his wife, St. Louis County police say.

An Oakville man faces charges related to defying an order of protection that protected his wife, police said. Robert Stockwood, 53, of Oakville, was charged Feb. 22 with violating a protection order and resisting arrest. St. Louis County Police said Stockwood had been served with an order of protection Feb. 17, prohibiting him from communicating with his wife or being at her home in the 4400 block of Forder Oaks Drive in Oakville. Police said he entered the home through an unlocked door and begged his wife to let him stay at the house. The woman told police she didn’t call for help because she was afraid, but left the home. She returned several hours later and ordered him to leave, but Stockwood went to the bathroom where she found him …

Police: Oakville Man Assaults Fiance, Fights Officers

St. Louis County Police said the man barricaded himself in the bathroom with the couple's 1-year-old child.

An Oakville man faces domestic assault and resisting arrest charges after he threw his fiancé to the ground and barricaded himself in the bathroom with the couple’s child, police said. Noah Leyva, 40, of the 2800 block of Woodbridge Estates Drive in Oakville, was charged Wednesday with two counts of third-degree domestic assault and resisting arrest. St. Louis County Police said Leyva grabbed his fiancé by the neck and forced her to the ground twice on Monday. St. Louis County prosecutors also said Leyva isolated the woman by refusing to allow her to use the telephone to call for help.
