If you watched the inaugural parade Monday, you may have caught a glimpse of Sarah Gamblin-Luig, a graduate of Mehlville High School and trumpet player for the Lesbian and Gay Band Association. Gamblin-Luig and her bandmates marched in both parades celebrating the inaugurations of President Barack Obama, making them the first LGBT group tapped by the president to join the event. Mehlville High School Graduate Playing in Obama Inaugural Parade

Sarah Gamblin-Luig will be part of the Lesbian and Gay Band Association which will march Monday playing tunes from Pitbull and Lady Gaga.

If you plan to watch Monday's inauguration as President Barack Obama begins a second term in the White House, keep an eye out for Sarah Gamblin-Luig, who grew up in Mehlville. Gamblin-Luig will be performing in the parade as part of the national Lesbian and Gay Band Association, the first LGBT association to ever participate in a presidential inauguration.
