St. Louis County Most Wanted

The list of St. Louis County Police Department's Most Wanted fugitives.

The St. Louis County Police Department regularly maintains a list of its most wanted fugitives. The list is updated as fugitives are apprehended. It includes suspects wanted for child kidnapping, domestic assault, armed criminal action, rape, robbery and abuse of a child. Among them is Deshawn A. Brown, pictured here. He is wanted on a charge of abuse of a child. His last known address is in St. Louis. Suck It Up 5K Tests Endurance at Night - In the Mud

Local police and firefighters will compete in an obstacle course in Hillsboro, an endurance contest with plenty of barriers to overcome.

A unique race is taking shape June 9 at a course on Bridle Creek Farm, in Hillsboro, that will test the endurance, toughness and competitive urges of those who want to prove their mettle in a challenging event. It's called the Suck It Up 5K run and consists of an obstacle course on a wooded layout. Participants must overcome a variety of barriers along the way, including cargo nets, tunnels, water slides, giant walls and zip lines. The Suck It Up 5K is run at night. Through the mud. The race motto is: "No Excuses. No Quitting. Suck It Up!" See a video of the contest attached to this article. Police Blotter: Thefts

The following is the St. Louis County Police fourth precinct crime report from May 9-15.

The following information was supplied by the South County Precinct of the St. Louis County Police Department. Please contact the South County Precinct with information regarding crimes. May 9 A white 2006 Ford F350 was stolen from the 6100 block of Hawkins. May 11 Copper wiring was stolen from a business at the 6700 block of Telegraph. May 15 Stereo equipment was taken from a vehicle at the 5100 block of Milburn. An arrest was made and property was recovered. A vehicle at the 5300 block of Warmwinds was broken into. A GPS unit and a .38 revolver were stolen. A suspect was arrested and the property was recovered.

Police Blotter: Copper Wiring Stolen from Two Businesses

Car Thief Leaves Clue to Identity—His ID

A big bad check, an angry coffee drinker and a meat theft spree are among the most unusual items found on the police beat in the St. Louis area.

Patch went searching for the oddest crimes in St. Louis in the last few weeks. Here's a look at what we found to enforce the age-old saying, "Crime doesn't pay." Car Thief's ID Makes Him Easy to Identify When stealing a car, it's probably not a good idea to leave your ID behind. A 1996 green Lexus LS was taken for a test drive Feb. 16 from Gallagher Motors on North Second Street in St. Charles and never returned. St. Louis police later recovered the car undamaged on the 7100 block of South Lindbergh Blvd. The car thief was easy to identify because the car dealership made a copy of his driver's license before the test drive. Police Blotter: 18 Car Break-Ins Near Grant's Trail

The St. Louis County 4th Precinct crime report from Feb. 7 to Feb. 13.

The following information was supplied by the 4th Precinct of the St. Louis County Police Department. Please contact the South County Precinct with information regarding crimes. Feb. 7 Feb. 8 Wheels and rims were reported stolen from a victim's truck while it was parked in his driveway on the 2500 block of Telegraph Road. The suspects fled in an unknown type of vehicle.  Feb. 9 Unknown suspects stole five tailgates worth $7,400 from South Town Dodge.   Feb. 10 Unknown suspects cut the chain-link fence and entered the secured lot at AT&T on Sheridan Road. More than $500 in copper wiring was reported stolen.  Feb. 11 In the evening, 18 vehicles were broken into that were parked at the entrance of Grant's Trail on Hoffmeister Avenue. …

Police Blotter: Stealing and Suicide Attempt

The St. Louis County 4th Precinct crime report from Jan. 31 to Feb. 6.

The following information was supplied by the 4th Precinct of the St. Louis County Police Department. Please contact the South County Precinct with information regarding crimes. Feb. 3 Suspects broke into into a home on the 4200 block of Bordeax Drive. No one was home and electronics were reported stolen. Feb. 4 A man attempted suicide by driving into oncoming traffic on the 1400 block of Lemay Ferry Road, causing an accident with serious injuries. The man was hospitalized and second-degree assault charges were filed.
