Noah Leyva was charged last month with assaulting the woman at their Oakville home. Police say that after leaving jail, he began texting his fiancé, telling her he was on his way to shoot her with a gun.
An Oakville man previously charged with assaulting his fiancé now is accused of harassing her by telling her he was coming to kill her. Noah Pete Leyva, 40, was charged Tuesday with harassment. St. Louis County Police said the threats started Sunday shortly after Leyva was released from jail on bond. According to a court document, Leyva repeatedly texted the woman, telling her he was on his way to her with a gun and that he would shoot her. He also said he wanted to see his daughter and was willing to die. Police said Leyva called the woman while officers were present and said he would shoot her and anyone else who was present. The side of a home in the 5800 block of Suncrest Way was spraypainted with graffiti as were the monuments and a sign at the beginning of the subdivision.
St. Louis County police are investigating a vandalism incident that occurred in a subdivision in the 5800 block of Suncrest Way in South County. The side of a home and two monuments and a sign at the beginning of the subdivision were spraypainted with graffiti on Sunday, April 14, said Off. Dan Schroeder, of the department's South County Precinct. Schroeder said police don't believe the home was the target of the vandals. He said, "It was the first house in the subdivision, and that's probably why it was hit." He added that officers are not sure whether the graffiti is gang-related. The investigation is ongoing.

St. Louis County Police said the sexual abuse took place when the man spent the night at the parents' home.
A Crestwood man is accused of molesting a 4-year-old girl in the Lemay area. Andrew Bullard, 33, of the 900 block of Woodbine Avenue in Crestwood, was charged April 5 with first-degree child molestation. St. Louis County Police said Bullard spent the night in the parents’ home in Lemay sometime between June 1, 2011 and Oct. 1, 2012. During that time, he touched his penis to the child’s vagina, according to court documents. Bullard is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $50,000. St. Louis County Police said officers arrived as Buddy L. Ferguson jumped off the roof.
A man chopped through the roof of an Oakville business on Telegraph Road to get inside and burglarize the building, police said. St. Louis County Police responding to a report of a burglary in progress Sunday saw a man jump off a roof at Telegraph Laundry, 4320 Telegraph Road. The man fled from officers, but was caught a short time later. Buddy L. Ferguson, 49, of Barnhart MO, was charged Sunday with second-degree burglary, misdemeanor stealing, first-degree property damage and resisting arrest. Police said Ferguson chopped a hole in the roof to get inside the building and took cash from the business. Ferguson is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. St. Louis County police are issuing the warning after two girls accepted a ride home from South County Mall from a man who asked them for sexual favors.
On Friday, March 8 two girls accepted a ride from a man who offered to take them home from South County Mall. Instead, he drove past their home into a nearby alley where he asked them for sexual favors and offered them money when they refused. The girls were able to escape from the man's car and walk home. However, the ending to that ordeal could have been much worse, said Off. Randy Vaughn, of the St. Louis County Police Department. "Fortunately, the girls came out of the situation with no physical harm," he said. "This is a prime example of why you should never accept a ride from a stranger." An Oakville man faces charges related to defying an order of protection that protected his wife, police said. Robert Stockwood, 53, of Oakville, was charged Feb. 22 with violating a protection order and resisting arrest. St. Louis County Police said Stockwood had been served with an order of protection Feb. 17, prohibiting him from communicating with his wife or being at her home in the 4400 block of Forder Oaks Drive in Oakville. Police said he entered the home through an unlocked door and begged his wife to let him stay at the house. The woman told police she didn’t call for help because she was afraid, but left the home. St. Louis County Police have placed a vacate order on a suspected meth house they raided near Oakville on Tuesday. The order was made Wednesday following the arrest of a 33 year old resident, and the medical evaluation and protective placement of a three year old child. The house has been raided twice since 2011. Patch reported on the first raid of the home in June 2011.
