Man Almost Crashed Into Police Car While Fleeing, Police Say

St. Louis County Police said when they caught Alexander Krupp, he had stolen items in his trunk.

A High Ridge man faces criminal charges after St. Louis County Police said they found he had property stolen from cars in Oakville. Alexander M. Krupp, 21, of the 1500 block of Cleo Court, was charged May 6 with felony stealing and resisting arrest. St. Louis County Police said officers responding to a suspicious person report spotted Krupp in his car at 2:52 a.m. Oct. 12. England Town Road and Pierwood Drive. Man Charged With Endangering Children in Meth House, Police Say

St. Louis County Police said they found three unsupervised children ages 9 and under in a Mehlville house that was being used to make meth.

A man is charged with endangering his children after police found meth and meth ingredients in his home along with three unsupervised children ages 9 and under. David Hazelip, 31, of the 2200 block of Pecan Drive in Mehlville, was charged Friday with first-degree child endangerment. St. Louis County Police said an officer investigating a theft at a nearby convenience store had recognized Hazelip on video surveillance at the store. An officer went to Hazelip’s home and found three children ages 9, 8 and 5 in the house, according to a court document. The officer saw stolen property in the home and seized it, police said. Melville Man Charged With Stealing Handgun in Oakville

St. Louis County Police said Kyle Koblitz broke into a home in the 1200 block of Mangrove Lane in January and stole a revolver.

A Mehlville man is accused of breaking into an Oakville home and stealing a handgun. Kyle B. Koblitz, 29, of the 1200 block of Mangrove Lane in Mehlville, was charged Friday with second-degree burglary and stealing a firearm. St. Louis County Police said Koblitz entered a home between 5 and 11:30 p.m. Jan. 24 in the 4300 block of Bristol View Court in Oakville and stole a .38 cal Taurus revolver. Koblitz told city of St. Louis Police that he sold the gun to a man on the street. Koblitz is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $30,000. Police: Men Found Inside Vacant Lemay House With Stolen Goods

The items had been stolen in recent burglaries, St. Louis County Police reported.

Police discovered two men in a vacant house last month with several items stolen in recent burglaries. Daniel Solomon, 34, of the 100 block of East Loretta Avenue in the Lemay area, and Brian Neaveill, 35, of the 4400 block of Swan Avenue in the city of St. Louis, each were charged with receiving stolen property after they were found on Jan. 16. St. Louis County Police said the two were found inside a home in the 900 block of Wachtel Avenue in the Lemay area with a stolen laptop computer, MP3 player, retirement pin, a silver watch, ball caps and sunglasses.   For more crime information on Mehlville-Oakville Patch, see the following articles:

Pair Charged With Stealing $10,800 in Items From South County Home

St. Louis County Police said the two men stole a wedding ring set, other jewelry and two iPods.

Two men are accused of stealing items valued at $10,800 from a South County home Thursday in the Lakeshire area. St. Louis County Police said Andrew Von Feldt, 23, drove Jeffrey Putney, 24, around the neighborhood knocking on doors in attempt to break into unoccupied homes. Police said the two men entered a home in the 9900 block of Knollshire Drive  and stole a diamond wedding ring set, two iPods and jewelry. Putney, of the 10600 block of Meath Drive in South County, and Von Feldt, of Pevely, each were charged Friday with second-degree burglary and felony theft. Bail was set at $15,000 each for Putney and Von Feldt. Von Feldt also was charged Friday for receiving stolen property in a separate incident.  St. Louis County Police said he …

Police: Two Cars Stolen from House’s Driveway

Car thieves stole two cars from the driveway of a home near the South County Castle.

Two cars were stolen from a driveway in the 600 block of Camborne, off Telegraph Road and across from the South County Castle. Both vehicles were stolen between 11 p.m. Nov. 26 and 5:30 a.m. Nov. 27. Police recovered one vehicle—a 1998 silver Honda Civic—near the scene, but the 1996 red-and-gray Isuzu minivan was still missing. Both cars had unlocked driver’s side doors. The Isuzu minivan’s Missouri state license plate reads HE4T9G. Mehlville Man Used Stolen Credit Card 30 Minutes After Stealing It, Police Say

The card was stolen near Interstate 55 and Meramec Bottom Road, police said.

A Mehlville man faces a criminal charge for using a credit card soon after it was stolen. Patrick Vuichard, 31, of the 3100 block of Alpen Rose Court in Mehlville, was charged Wednesday with receiving stolen property. St. Louis County Police said Vuichard is on surveillance video using the stolen credit card in the city of St. Louis. The card had been stolen at about 5:30 p.m. Oct. 19 in South County near Interstate 55 and Meramec Bottom Road, just north of Arnold. Vuichard used the card about 30 minutes later, police said. Police: Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Shop N Save Parking Lot

A man with a gun stole $10 and the victim’s cell phone during the robbery.

A man was robbed at gunpoint of $10 and his cell phone in the parking lot of the Shop N Save grocery store on Lemay Ferry Road Nov. 2, police said. The St. Louis County Police Department is now looking for the suspect, described as a black, skinny man about 22-years-old with a mustache, according to the South County Precinct’s police blotter. This reports that the robber was forced onto the ground by the man with a gun. This makes no sense. Please proof read and edit the content more vigilantly.   more ›
