St. Louis County Most Wanted

The list of St. Louis County Police Department's Most Wanted fugitives.

The St. Louis County Police Department regularly maintains a list of its most wanted fugitives. The list is updated as fugitives are apprehended. It currently includes suspects wanted for child kidnapping, domestic assault, armed criminal action, rape, robbery and abuse of a child. Among them is Moshen J. Abu-Khudeier, pictured here. He is wanted on charges of attempted enticement of a child. His last known address is in Chesterfield. DWI Checkpoints Planned by St. Louis County Police This Month

The St. Louis County Police Highway Safety Unit and officers from the Division of Patrol will be conducting the checkpoints.

The St. Louis County Police Highway Safety Unit and officers from the Division of Patrol will be conducting sobriety checkpoints throughout the month of May, according to a news release from the St. Louis County Police Department.  Specially trained officers will be checking motorists in an effort to reduce the number of intoxicated drivers on our streets and highways. Inconvenience to motorists will be minimal.   The officers participating in the enforcement have had additional training in the recognition of motorists who have had too much to drink or are under the influence of illegal drugs. The US Supreme Court ruled in 1990 that sobriety checkpoints are legal. In essence the 5-4 majority felt that the brevity of the interaction with police was minimal and not protected by the Fourth Amendment. They felt that it was more important to give the police this power in the name of making roadways safer. American Eagle Credit Union Hosts Free Document Shredding Event

There's no limit to the amount of paper you can bring to shred at six locations throughout St. Louis and Jefferson County on May 4.

Take advantage of Anheuser-Busch Employees' Credit Union/American Eagle Credit Union's free shred events to clean out your file cabinets.  This service allows residents to safely dispose of sensitive documents with personal information. Documents will be destroyed on-site by a qualified shredding service, according to a news release from the credit union. There is no limit on the amount of documents you can bring for disposal, but paper must be free of metal clips and paperclips. ID Theft Cases Tied To Schnucks: Should You Be Concerned?

The Secret Service is not yet officially involved in an investigation, but has advice for worried St. Louis County consumers.

Authorities from jurisdictions around the St. Louis area are confirming reports in recent days that Schnucks, the Maryland Heights-based grocery chain, may have had its credit card collection system compromised, making consumers vulnerable to identity theft. Creve Coeur Police and the St. Louis County Police are some of the agencies which have taken reports. The St. Louis County Wildwood Precinct posted an alert on its Facebook page Wednesday stating the department has taken numerous reports for fraudulent use of a credit device. Police also warned, "You may have seen the news and learned there had been a recent epedemic of these reports throughout St. Louis County and its municipalities. I am very disappointed Schnucks still does not have any signs up to warn customers about the security problems. I shopped at Schnucks two weeks ago and my number was stolen. I received a call from my cc company to inform me of suspecious activity. It is still happening so they have not yet resolved the problem.
