Executive Chef of Lumiere Place and River City Casino. Oversees 13 restaurants and over 600 employees. John and his family live here in South County. A native of Asheville, North Carolina - John's love for food started with baking banana bread and cookies with his mom.

After graduating from the local community college with an associate degree in Culinary Arts he went on to work for seven years with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Florida, New Orleans and Los Angeles. Then another eight years with the 2<sup>nd</sup> largest hotel in the world “The MGM Grand Hotel” in Las Vegas, where he cooked for banquet parties up to 35,000 people. Working in Vegas gave him the opportunity and privilege to work events with chefs like Mario Batali, Tom Colcchio, Emeril Lagasse and Joel Robuchon.

Chef John wants to not only share his knowledge with everyone who loves to cook, but also learn all the varieties of foods that have made St. Louis famous for both professional cooks and the home chefs.
