Pole Position Raceway St. Louis Hosts First Ever Kartoberfest

Pole Position Raceway St. Louis, the area’s fastest
indoor go kart track, is pleased to announce the first ever Annual
Kartoberfest. Kartoberfest will take place on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013 from 12
pm to 10 pm and Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013 from 11am to 7 pm at 8800 Watson Road in
St. Louis. This family-friendly event includes car shows, food trucks, inflatable
bounce house and obstacle course, petting zoo, face paint and balloon artists.

Each day of the festival will be capped off by
special events. Saturday night, from 6 pm to 10 pm, a giant inflatable movie
screen will be set up showing two films. Please visit website for movie title
information. Sunday night, from 3 pm to 7pm, Pole Position Raceway has partnered
with Autism Speaks for a fundraiser. Starting at 3pm on Sunday, all proceeds
from races will be given directly to Autism Speaks. This portion of the event
will be sensory friendly. Pole Position Raceway has a Kid’s Oval track where
all the children with autism will have a private race.

Pole
Position Raceway Owner, Mike Johnson, has been looking forward to Kartoberfest
since the track opened in March. “I wanted to create an event where racers
and families of the community could come together to enjoy a weekend of racing
and other fun, interactive activities,” said Johnson. “Saturday’s
activities will provide a great family outing, while Sunday’s partnership with
Autism speaks will be a special opportunity for children with autism to drive
the karts without the pressure of anyone else trying to pass around them.”
