South County Family Finds KKK Note in Mailbox

The Mehlville couple is most concerned for their 4-year-old son.

On the eve of the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King`s ‘I Have A Dream Speech’, a family new to Mehlville received a disturbing note in their mailbox, Fox2 News reports.

“I see you I shoot you,” the note said, which also included racial slurs and the letters KKK. It was written on the cardboard from a Wheat Thins box. It suggested they move back to north St. Louis.

The couple, who didn’t want their faces shown, says their biggest concern is for their four-year-old son. They had hoped he would not have to learn about racism so early in life.
