St. Louis County Council rezoned a 1.5 acre site next to the Goddard School in Oakville a little more than a year ago, and construction on a three-story senior housing complex is now underway.
Part of the rezoning process is to notify nearby residents and businesses of the rezoning hearing, but residents said they weren’t notified, and their voices weren’t heard.
Patch went to a Father’s Day lunch at the Goddard School on Friday to hear some of those voices.

Though work continues, Sixth District Councilman Steve Stenger proposed a resolution, which passed, to reconsider the rezoning. That hearing will take place July 15 at county council chambers in Clayton, 41 S. Central Ave.
